Eliminate Power Drains Through Foods Good For Brain Function

We’ve shedded some light on the darkness of toxic food and all the pain it creates in my previous blog. Now, let’s go through foods good for brain function which helps eliminate toxins.

Recap Of Power Draining Toxins

Clearly, there are many ways to toxify and drain power from food. Remembering these can make all the difference in creating a day filled with energy, smiles and productivity or a month in bed with a flu virus or a trip to the hospital for a shot of insulin. So let’s go ahead and bolster our defenses by recapping what we know so far about the Power Drains.

We now know that food that has been altered from its original state can drain your power if it contains the following substances:

  • Toxic herbicides and pesticides
  • Unnatural Preservatives & Additives
  • GMOs
  • Artificial Sweeteners
  • Fried food, grilled or blackened food
  • Hydrogenated oils (trans fats)
  • Over processed and refined foods

Take Action – Eliminate Toxins

To make sure you’re not poisoning yourself with poor quality food and draining your power there are two key actions you’ll need to take as follows:

  1. Limit if not eliminate packaged, canned and processed foods. As you’ll soon discover in our raw vs. cooked food section, with some rare exceptions, these foods are close to dead (devoid of any significant life).  This is where you’ll find 90% of the low quality food.
  1. Start Reading Labels – If for some reason you do buy something that was modified or processed from its original state you’ll need to get in the habit of reading labels. If it doesn’t have a label make sure you ask the vendor the following question:

What’s In It?

If you find ingredients you can’t pronounce, chances are it’s toxic and more than likely made in a lab instead of a garden. And if you find any of the above mentioned power drains in front of you simply pass and find something else that hasn’t been toxified from its original state.

Once you find your power restored and your mind firing on all cylinders you’ll have created an environment where no illness or cancer can live. And… I guarantee you’ll be glad you took action.

Antinutrients Kill Your Power

Ok so let’s say you’ve gotten rid of the toxic power drains mentioned above and you’re eating whole foods but you still struggle with inflammation, weight gain, digestive issues, arthritis, cardiovascular issues, low libido or just low energy.

If any of this sounds familiar, you may be struggling with antinutrients, plant compounds that reduce your body’s ability to absorb essential nutrients and wreak havoc on your microbiome.

And just when you thought it was safe to dive into the garden of plant based eating because documentaries like “Game Changers” punched a hole in the meatball manifesto of America, along comes the discovery of antinutrients (massive power drains) found primarily in plants.

But again, don’t worry, because we’ll be navigating around these pitfalls with some brilliant strategies that optimize plant power while at the same time minimizing the power drains.

First off, it’s important to understand that antinutrients, in large part, are built-in defense mechanisms, which function to perpetuate the species of each plant.  Some of these are so toxic they can literally kill you.

In fact, castor beans contain an antinutrient called “lectins,” which contains ricin, a lethal substance used as a poison during the cold war.

In 2018 ricin was detected in mail sent to The Pentagon and addressed to Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis and President Donald Trump (among others).  Had they inhaled the ricin they would’ve most likely died in few days or less.

But this is just one way a plant protects itself.  As you can imagine, there are many ways they do this, which is another in-depth subject of which several great books have been written including, “The Blood Type Diet” by Dr. Peter J D’Adamo and “The Plant Paradox” by Dr. Steven Gundry.

But again, our goal is to uncover the root solution and not get bogged down in all the details, so let’s take a look at what science says about some of the biggest antinutrient culprits and how we can eliminate their potential to drain your power.
